David H. Brenner founded Marathon
Ventures in October 2000. He also founded HalfthePlanet.com,
a gateway Internet site for the disability community
where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer
from its inception until July 2000.
He concluded a 16-year career with
MCA/Universal Studios, Inc. in 1997 as Senior Vice
President, Sales
and Marketing of Advertiser-Supported Programming
for the MCA/Universal Television and Home Entertainment
Groups.
He served on the executive committee
of the USA Networks and as Executive Vice President
of
Premier Advertiser
Sales. A graduate of Stanford University, he is a past president
and current member of the board of directors of the
Richmond Group, a nonprofit organization serving people
with severe disabilities in Westchester County, New
York.
Jake
Brenner

Jake spearheads Marathon's Emerging Media consulting
initiatives, advising established media companies
on emerging media opportunities and early stage media
and technology companies on growth and revenue strategies.
Jake manages the sale of branded entertainment and
direct response inventory to advertisers and clients
across multiple programming and distribution channels.
Jake previously worked for GlaxoSmithKline in brand
management in Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and
was a Fulbright Scholar to Singapore.
Jake is Vice-President of the New York Chapter Fulbright
Association in addition to a certified Pilates and
salsa dancing instructor.
Thomas
Woska
Senior Vice President, Technical Operations

Thomas Woska has been working in
development and design for more than eleven years.
His experience ranges from deploying intranet and
Internet solutions for large organizations, managing
complex database applications, implementing content
management systems and creating ecommerce solutions.
His experience includes project management,
software evaluation and implementation, budgeting
and development.
He is a trained Macromedia professional
and proficient in MySQL, PHP, Dreamweaver UltraDev,
Photoshop, Flash, HTML 4.0, CSS, and Javascript. He
has also worked extensively with the W3C and WAI guidelines
on web accessibility.
